Oil painting on plywood panel depicting a lake at the foot of a mountain and made in France in the second half of the 19th century. On the bank a fisherman talks to the passengers of a boat. On the left the trees seem to stretch towards the lake in the hope of being able to touch the flat surface of the water. In the background some mountains blend in with the sky and clouds. Good state of preservation. Golden plaster frame. Size without frame: 18.5 x 24 cm. Upon request it is possible to have a quote for cleaning the painting and retouching the frame.
