Pencil drawing on paper by Leo Guida depicting a man with an animal on his shoulder, 1973. Hand-signed and dated lower right. Good condition. Leo Guida was able to weave a productive activity on art and the function of art with many generations of young people throughout his career. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico in Latina from 1969 to 1985 and trained many of the artists that characterise the Italian cultural scene today. His production of graphic works was copious, in which he showed all his talent for the techniques of intaglio, etching, aquatint, burin, etc. In his pedagogical work, he led students to observe both plastic forms and internal evolutionary dynamics and not only the history of art.
