Important and unique large hand-sewn patchwork rug designed by Arazzi Missoni in collaboration with Saporiti Italia, circa 1980s. Like a patchwork rug, this stunning piece is a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design. Knitted pieces of Missoni wool have been joined into squares and hand stitched onto fabric to create this large, unique work of art. After years it remains in excellent original condition. Labeled Missoni on the back. Each piece is unique and non-repeatable.
