Pippo Oriani, born Giuseppe Oriani in Turin in 1909, was an Italian painter involved in the Futurist movement. A pupil of Enrico Prampolini, he joined Futurism and subsequently aeropainting in 1931, also exhibiting in Paris. After the Second World War, he dedicated himself to architecture and interior design, before returning to painting, exploring post-cubist styles with the "Human Presences" cycle. Oriani also worked as a journalist and magazine editor. He died in Rome in 1972. His legacy continues through the Fondation Oriani, active in Belgium and Canada since 1966.
