Stirrup cup with moose head by Gucci for Forst, 1970s
Pewter stirrup cups by Gucci for Forst; one with a moose head, the other with a horse head. Made in Italy in the 1970s and stamped "Forst" in 2011 - 2012. These cups can be placed on the head or displayed upside down with the head clearly visible, as a trophy or decorative element. Stirrup cups were originally created for drinking on horseback, usually before a hunting trip. Being small, they can be emptied quickly and can be held in the hand easily. They were given as gifts for work merit to the owners of the bars that served this beer. Two stirrup cups available, price each (contact the seller to choose the desired one). The one with the moose head is 15 cm high, 8 cm wide and 14.5 cm deep. The one with the horse's head is 15 cm high, 8 cm wide and deep.
