Item description

Refined Italian painting of the seventeenth century. Oil work on canvas depicting a splendid Madonna and Child, of considerable pictorial quality, which is inspired by the Tuscan school of Andrea del Sarto. The elegant composition, the sweetness of the faces and the chromatic palette in fact recall the great masterpieces of the Florentine master (the work is currently not accompanied by Expertise, but it is possible to obtain it upon payment of the related additional costs). Valuable setting of the nineteenth century in carved and golden wood, with some signs of time and small shortcomings (see photo). Work already restored with Rintelo, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some places, overall in good conservative state. Painted light H 79.5 x L 62.5 cm.
