Pair of Philippe Rogier Space Age Table Lamps for Oxar, 70s

This rare pair of table lamps was designed by Philippe Rogier for Oxar in France during the 1970s, and represents one of the most fascinating examples of the European Design Age. Each lamp has a cubic metal structure with a clean and minimalist line, with a reflective metal spiral in the center fixed by a mirror bulb. This single sculptural element, despite its simplicity, manages to create a surprising optical effect, projecting on the surrounding surface dynamic motifs of light and shadow. The combination of rigorous geometry and luminous creativity makes these lamps true functional works of art. Ideal such as bedside table lamps, desk or atmosphere, perfect for modern interiors, brutalists or retro-faulty style. The lamps are in excellent vintage conditions, with a pleasant patina of the time, and are supplied with original mirror bulbs to maintain the original visual effect. Dimensions (for each lamp): 17 x 17 x 17 cm Conditions: Excellent vintage state. Light patina. Fall back and ready for use.
