This limelight has a walnut structure, a precious wood highly appreciated for its warm shade and its rich veins, willing to create natural decorative motifs. Lower body (drawer): Drawers: The lower part consists of four horizontal drawers of height digraving from the bottom to the tall. These drawers offer a significant containing space and are characterized by walnut fronts with a finish that highlights the vein of the wood. Piuma bordering: a remarkable stylistic detail is the presence of a feather bordering (or "feather banding") on the front of the drawers. This decorative technique consists in submitting thin wooden veneers cut in mirrorly, creating a spine motif that adds a touch of refinement and elegance. Handles: The drawers are equipped with brass handles, originals of the time. These handles have a drop or bracket shape with decorated plates, typical of the period. Feet: the base of the limelight rests on feet in shelf or "Bracket feet". The feet are robust and slightly shaped, giving stability and a sense of elevation to mobile. Tapial writing plan: The upper part of the drawer has a folding surface which, once opened and supported by wooden lateral arms, acts as a comfortable surface for writing. Inserts: The top is covered in a light -colored cloth delimited by a wooden border. This insert creates a pleasant surface for writing. Locks: the locks, in brass, are all contemporary as well as vents and handles. Raised (internal desk): Directors and drawers: the inside of the limelight, revealed when the floor is open, is organized in a series of small drawers, open -day compartments and niches. This internal division offered space to store letters, documents, pens and other writing tools in order. Carved columns: on the sides of a central compartment you notice small columns grooved with capitals, a decorative element that recalls classic architecture and adds a touch of elegance inside. Present secret rooms. Central counter: in the center of the lift there is a vertical counter, also veneered in walnut and decorated. This door hides a wider compartment. Piuma Bordatura (internal): even inside, in some places, you can see the continuation of the feather bordering, testifying to the attention to detail in the construction of the furniture.
