Pair of Tartaro Sculpture 99 bedside tables, 1960s
Extraordinary couple of bedside table belonging to the "Tartaro" series by Luciano Frigerio for the Frigerio di Desio company at the end of the 60s. Still in a few, they know that the "Tartar" line is very special since it was the first production at the end of the 60s' of the "Sculpture 99 sculpture - Furniture as limited chilling sculpture in 99 multiples" born precisely with this model as an expression of sculptural shapes of the furniture, from which the Barium line, diamond and many others then succeeded. Therefore these bedside tables are an authentic collector's piece of one of the most daring furniture and designers of the past century, an authentic piece of history of a company that has marked its era, of these bedside tables there are only 98 other couples. The bedside tables are sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by the heirs Frigerio. They are made of elements of concave and convex in African rosewood with brass knob handles. The general conditions are excellent as per photographs with tiny signs of time given their almost 60 years, this brand of manufacture in each drawer.
