This boat was known for its speed and maneuverability and was common in the military marines such as the Spanish and British marinas of that period. British frigates: At the end of the 1970s of the eighteenth century, the British used larger and "heavy" frigates who transported more powerful cannons. Spanish frigates: Spain, like other great naval powers, widely used the frigates during this period. A type of ship called "Fragata expiola ano 1780" is found in the digital archives of the city of San Diego and commemorates the role of the Spanish frigates in naval history, including battles such as that of Capo San Vincenzo.
