After a long teaching career in the artistic field, from the early 1980s he dedicated himself exclusively to the creation of his works. For almost 30 years he dedicated himself to the creation of sculptures, ceramics and stoneware, becoming one of the greatest Italian exponents, with wide recognition from the public and critics paid to him incessantly over time. From the second half of the 1980s he began to combine sculptures with a long production of paintings, always keeping alive the reference to expressive material, so that his paintings are often both paintings and sculptures.
