Type: This is a barber's basin, recognizable by its oval shape and the hollow on the edge, designed to adhere to the neck during shaving. Decoration: The work is finely hand-painted in a rich polychromy that combines underglaze cobalt blue with overglaze glazes in rusty orange (called "iron red") and gold, a distinctive feature of the Chinese Imari style. Pattern: The design features a vibrant central floral bouquet with stylized flowers in blue, orange and gold, surrounded by a band decorated with floral trellis and foliage motifs. State of conservation: The conditions are excellent in relation to age, free of any defects or restoration.
