A pair of cobalt blue Sèvres porcelain vases with gilded plant motifs. The polylobed base, the pinecone-shaped handle on the lid, the leafy scroll handles, and the feminine votive are gilded bronze. The vase's belly is painted with a romantic scene and a lake landscape. The lid bears a manufacturer's mark.
