This pair of shell-shaped wall sconces was produced in Italy in 1989 by Barovier & Toso, a historic Murano glassmaker of international fame. The diffusers are made of Murano glass worked with a rich surface texture that recalls the natural shape of the shell, combined with brass supports that enhance their elegance.
Both appliques retain the original manufacturer's label indicating the year and model of production. Coming from a warehouse, they are in perfect condition, like new, having never been installed or used.
