Grossé is a jewelry brand founded in 1907 in Pforzheim, Germany, by Heinrich Henkel and Florentin Grosse. The company started by producing costume jewelry in materials such as bronze, aluminum, wood, bakelite and galalith. In the 1930s, he collaborated with fashion houses such as Lanvin and Schiaparelli in Paris, as well as Harrods in London and Saks in New York. In 1937, Henkel & Grosse was awarded the diplome d'honneur at the Paris International Exhibition for its innovative designs.
In 1955, the company began a collaboration with Christian Dior, obtaining the exclusive license for the production and distribution of Dior jewelry. This partnership lasted over 50 years, during which Henkel & Grosse continued to create its own lines, such as Grosse Bijoux, Grosse Sterling and Grosse Gold, always following fashion trends.
In 2005, the Grosse family withdrew from the business and the company became part of the Dior group. Grossé jewelry is known for its modern design and technical innovation, and has been distributed globally, with stores present in several Asian countries until 2015.
