Iconic "Lotus" model table lamp (LT series), designed by master glassmaker Carlo Nason for the historic AV Mazzega glassworks in Murano towards the end of the 1960s. This piece represents a pinnacle of Italian Space Age design, combining the excellence of Murano tradition with futuristic geometric shapes. The diffuser is entirely made of hand-blown Murano glass. The structure is composed of three overlapping, interlocking modules: the workmanship presents a refined shade that goes from opaque milky white (milky glass) to crystalline transparency in the upper part, creating a soft, warm and sculptural diffusion of light. The cylindrical base is in original chromed metal, solid and in excellent condition. The Lotus lamp by Carlo Nason is a piece present in the most important design collections of the 20th century. The 35cm version is particularly popular for its versatility, making it perfect both as a mood lamp on a side-board and as a centerpiece on a coffee table.
