Item description

Description: Antique Empire chest of drawers in mahogany feather with bardiglio gray marble top belonging to the early 19th century. The front is marked by three large drawers and a smaller one under the top highlighted by a large gilded bronze fitting depicting swans. The three drawers are enhanced by golden eagle-shaped handles and an expertly chiselled central nozzle. On the sides there are two feathered columns with a base and Corinthian capital in finely chiseled gilded bronze. General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: France, early 19th century. Measurements: 128x63 H100cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
