Item description

Description: English card table in walnut and maple root belonging to the first half of the nineteenth century. The mixtilinear top features an entire maple inlay with leaf motifs and rotates on itself creating a storage compartment. The basket shape of the foot is typical of the Victorian style and is embellished by the presence of leaf motif carvings. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: 19th Century England. Measurements: 90x45 H72cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
