Splendid and rare oil triptych on plywood by the famous Livorno master Renato Natali, a leading exponent of the Labronico Group. The work is enclosed in an elegant and scenographic gilded and moulded wooden frame, which enhances its brightness and character.
Description of the Work
The triptych is composed of three independent panels, each signed and dedicated to port scenes animated by typical vessels. Natali uses his characteristic material and dynamic brushstroke to capture the reflections of the water and the vibrant atmosphere of Tuscan ports.
Left tablet ("Paranza"): A "paranza" in the foreground of the harbor.
Central Tablet ("Sailing Ship"): A majestic white sailing ship at rest, with clever touches of light defining the masts and rigging against a clear sky.
Right Tablet ("Sunset"): Boat at the entrance to the port with a lowered sail, characterised by a predominance of warm tones.
