Pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s attributed to Barovier & Toso, made with a satin brass structure and transparent Murano glass diffusers. Each lamp features a square wall plate, a streamlined horizontal arm and a cylindrical stand that supports the glass body.
The diffuser has an open cup shape, with a wavy upper edge and rich relief workmanship. The ribbed and reticulated texture recalls natural motifs, between leaf and shell, enhancing the transparency of the glass and creating refined plays of light. The satin brass gives warmth and an elegant material contrast. Ideal for an entrance, corridor, bedroom, bathroom or on the sides of a mirror, they represent a refined example of Mid-Century Modern Italian lighting.
Each measures: diameter 22cm x depth 27cm x height 18cm.
