This elegant display bookcase, dating back to the late 19th century, is a fine example of classical antique-style cabinetmaking. Featuring a sleek structure and contained depth, this vintage piece of furniture was designed to offer great display capacity without excessively cluttering the space, making it perfect for corridors or refined studios. The upper part features two large glass doors with a characteristic arched shape, which reveal an interior lined with decorative paper with floral motifs. The solid and proportionate base houses two solid wood panel doors with "open spot" grain, ideal for neatly storing items. The gendarme hat and onion feet complete the vintage aesthetic of this restored piece, which lends itself to enhancing a collection of antique books or valuable objects in a classy setting.
