An exceptionally elegant Italian mid-century dining table designed by Osvaldo Borsani and produced by Mobilificio Fratelli Turri in the 1950s. This rare example exemplifies the sophisticated transition from late Italian Art Deco influences to the refined modernism that would define Borsani's most celebrated work. The table features an architectural structure veneered in richly figured rosewood, accented by finely crafted brass details and topped with a striking black opaline glass surface. The interplay between luxurious materials, sculptural proportions, and rigorous geometry creates a piece that serves equally as a dining table and as an architectural focal point within an interior. The piece has been professionally restored by our workshop, preserving its original character, materials, and historical integrity. Particularly noteworthy is its place within a documented and cohesive dining room ensemble produced by Fratelli Turri and attributed to Osvaldo Borsani, comprising a matching set of six dining chairs, a large sideboard with an onyx top, and an architectural cabinet with a mirror. Matching pieces are available separately. Materials Rosewood veneer Black opaline glass Mahogany Brass Origin Italy Period 1950s Condition Professionally restored.
