A striking set of four wall sconces circa by Massive Lighting Belgium circa 1980s. Executed in the spirit of French/Belgian Post-Modern architectural lighting of the early 1980s. Combining polished brass with thick bevelled acrylic, the design emphasises geometry, reflection and the sculptural qualities of light. Massive was a Belgian lighting company, especially known for accessible decorative lighting from the mid-century through postmodern period. It later became part of Philips/Signify’s consumer lighting world. Professionally restored and presented in excellent vintage condition after careful polishing of both the brass and acrylic surfaces.
