Liberty chest of drawers in ash and maple, attributed to Ernesto Basile, made by the Grandiosi Magazzini Emporio Roma of Palermo at the beginning of the 20th century. The structure has a front with six drawers, with the first two small ones placed side by side, displaying a painted floral decoration that extends harmoniously across the entire piece of furniture. The upper surface is protected by glass, while an elegant splashback with turned side spandrels enriches the upper part. The metal handles and vents complete the refined design. A perfect example of Italian Liberty craftsmanship, this chest of drawers combines functionality and aesthetics, ideal for environments that enhance historical design.
