A remarkable set of three postmodern candlesticks of varying heights from the 1980s, attributed to Christian de Beaumont. The sculptural candlesticks combine green-marbled stone, brass details and slender lacquered metal elements to form a graphic, almost architectural composition. Particularly striking are the conical marble bases, the gold-coloured spherical details and the widely flared candle holders. The three staggered heights of 22, 28 and 35 cm create an exciting ensemble with clear postmodern and Memphis influences. The minimalist geometry and mix of materials make the set a striking statement piece on a dining table, console table or sideboard.
