This is an elegant vertical corner cabinet, featuring a lower section closed by an arched door and topped with an elaborately carved and perforated pediment. The style is reminiscent of late 19th-century cabinetmaking (Historicist or Eclectic period). The structure is made of solid wood and veneered in walnut burl, giving the drawer front and arched door a distinctive flamed and spotted motif. The upper section features intricate perforated carvings with symmetrically arranged scrolls and foliage, ending in a knob. The lower section consists of a drawer beneath the top with its original handle and an internal compartment closed by an arched door, with shaped wooden shelves. The upper section is a decorative wall cornice, which considerably elongates the cabinet's silhouette. The item is in excellent overall condition, the result of meticulous conservative restoration that enhanced the walnut burl veneer and original hardware.
