Elegant and particular small desk in Directory style and era, beginning '800, in mahogany feather, rich in gold bronzes, finished as a center element. The top edged with a bronze profile currently has a cloth, where once was the original leather. Present two drawers in the facade both with vintage locks and edged with bronze profiles. The four legs rest on four bronze feet. What makes this precious piece very singular are the 22 gilded bronze figures that decorate it: swans holding a shield on the drawers, triumphs, and torches on the legs, pairs of young people in love on the uprights, ferns on the crosspieces.
The state of conservation is good, the structure is solid and does not require interventions while the paint, despite being in the patina, presents signs of time and could be updated. The bronze figures, like all profiles, are all present and also, even in the patina, wanting, can be polished.
