Antique Italian painting of the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting religious subject Copy of the Baptism of St. Paul by Ananias with a good pictorial hand. Painting based on the famous painting by Pietro da Cortona of 1631 kept in Santa Maria della Concezione. A work of great size and impact, for antique dealers and collectors of ancient sacred art. A painting rich in characters and decorative elements, characterised by great dynamism. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, re-tinting and colour restoration in several points (see photo). There are tears and numerous signs of ageing (see photo). In need of restoration.
