Item description

Old Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting religious subject Saint Joseph with child of good pictorial hand. Painting of beautiful size and pleasant impact adorned by 20th century frame richly carved, chiselled, lacquered and gilded with decorations and half side columns in relief (see photo). Work on canvas mounted on rectangular frame with oval painting light (see photo). A painting of excellent proportions that can easily be placed in different parts of the house, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique sacred art. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, re-tinting and colour restoration in some points (see photo). Overall work in good state of preservation. Light painting H 79 x W 63 cm.
