Antique Lombard painting from the 17th century. Large oil painting on canvas depicting a shepherd with his dogs immersed in a country landscape. A work of great pictorial quality, the skill with which the painter has depicted the animals is remarkable. Non-coeval frame in carved, lacquered and gilded wood, beautifully decorated. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration with re-staining, replacement of the frame and repainting in some small places, overall in an excellent state of preservation. Light painting H 71 x W 181 cm.
