Item description
French Napoleon III desk in exotic fine woods with gilt bronze piping and leather top. The under-top band features three drawers adorned with beautiful, finely chiseled gilt bronze vents. Eight donkey's croup feet support the entire structure and are embellished with finely chiseled gilt bronze acanthus leaves. The other face turns out to mirror the main one. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: 19th century France. Measurements: 152x88 H78cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
