Item description

It is the world's first industrial chair, injection molded using a single mold. The chair designed by Joe Colombo for Kartell is on display at MOMA. The leg cylinder is cut in half to make it possible to put the chairs together horizontally; the recesses on the sides of the seat solve the problem of stackability as it is possible to insert the rear legs of two other chairs into them. Finally, the central hole has the functional justification of providing a convenient grip for moving the chair, allowing air circulation, and water runoff in case of outdoor use. Perfect condition with a few tiny signs of time due to their 50 years of life. Width 42 cm, depth 50 cm, height 71 cm, seat height 43 cm.
