Item description

Oil painting on canvas made in France in the second half of the 18th century depicting a working-class genre scene with characters. Non-coeval wood and plaster frame, carved and lacquered with some signs of wear (see photo). Painting in beautiful patina, with some minor signs of conservation restoration. Overall in fair condition, in need to be cleaned. Size without frame: 66 x 78 cm.
