Square white ceramic ashtray by Piero Fornasetti for the Winston cigarette brand, 1970s. It features the famous face of the woman we see in many variations of Fornasetti's iconic illustrations, the opera singer Lina Cavalieri. It is in excellent condition, probably never used, signed on the bottom. Piero Fornasetti was an Italian artist and designer known for his whimsical and surreal designs; his mid-century modern works are highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts.
