Vicenza stone fountain with cherub and dolphin, late 19th century
Item description
Vicenza stone fountain made at the end of the 19th century and coming from Vicenza. The sculpture is in the round and dominating the scene is a large putto riding a dolphin. The tap is inserted inside the dolphin's mouth and there is a shell-shaped tub to collect the water. The oval-shaped base is made up of three pieces. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
