Item description

A beautiful and very comfortable set with saddle-effect armchair and matching footstool, which echoes the curves of the armchair. The set has its original upholstery in smooth pistachio-coloured leather. Designed circa 1962 by Vittorio Introini for Saporiti Italia's innovative 'Proposte' collection. Both armchair and stool have the original label. Founded in 1950, Saporiti still designs and produces some of the finest and most advanced furniture in the history of Italian design. Some Saporiti Italia pieces can be found in the world's most famous museums of modern art and design. Original period condition with slight signs of use. The cushions are connected with the original hinges. The interior upholstery is very good, the leather is in very clean condition, all seams are in very good condition.
