Tempera painting on paper fixed on canvas with framework (see photo), late 18th century. Depicting landscape with figures, animals and architecture of good painterly hand. Modern carved and gilded wooden frame of fine decoration. Vertically unfolding work of great size and impact. It is aesthetically divided into two parts: the large cloudy sky characterized by the many shades of color and the earthly lower part. Work of pleasing depth; very beautiful architectures silhouetted in the country landscape and characters in the foreground on the river bank (see photo). Painting in beautiful patina showing several small lacks in color and signs of time. Structurally solid, overall in fair state of preservation. Size without frame: 122 x 83 cm.
