Item description

Oil painting on canvas from the 18th century depicting a biblical subject, that is Joseph at the well sold by his brothers. Oval painting with (adapted) chiseled wooden frame from the 20th century; this has two small bevels on the edges at the top and bottom to adapt the shape to the painting (see photos). Work of good brightness that has recently undergone conservation restoration, frame replacement and has been restretched (see photos). In good condition with some signs of time. Size without frame: 92 x 68 cm.
