Cherrywood sofa by Eugen Schmidt for Soloform, 1960s

This sofa was designed by German designer Eugen Schmidt and produced in the 1960s in Germany by Soloform. The sofa frame is made of solid cherry wood, which was professionally and carefully restored by removing the old upholstery, staining it the colour of teak wood and finishing it with varnish. The cushions are upholstered with original grey-green velvet fabric preserved in excellent condition. The sofa is extendable and has the function of a bed. When open, the reclining surface has a depth of 108 cm.
