Item description
Description: Antique French Empire coffee table in mahogany feather with black Belgian marble top. The marble top is supported by an under-top band which incorporates two drawers and is embellished by the presence of finely chiseled gilded bronze friezes. The columns entirely in mahogany are surmounted by expertly chiseled Corinthian capitals in gilded bronze and end with bronze bases. A mixtilinear band acts as a connecting element between the columns and is enhanced by the presence of a beautiful bronze cup from the same period as the rest. Provenance: 19th century France. Measurements: Diameter 100cm. Height 77cm. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
