Nur is the lamp compared to a "memory box". The luminous object is the synthesis of the author's gazes that he collected through the medium of photography during his visits to the oldest districts of Cairo and Baghdad. Thus, the typical decorations of the "mashrabiyya", an architectural element of Middle Eastern homes used as a screen to filter prying eyes from the outside, are the source of inspiration for the designer Dino Lorusso who, with NUR, combines photography, architecture and design. The lampshade in corten steel has six carved surfaces, each with its own decoration obtained through waterjet technology. The structure of the lamp is in painted steel to allow the user to customize the product, creating contrasts of colors that recall the intensity of the places that inspired it.
