Item description

Beautiful ashtray / vide poche from Italy from the 1970s. In diamond/prism shape. What is special about this object is that the edges are not sharp but rounded, creating a very special design language. The ashtray is made of alexandrite / neodymium glass. This means that a substance has been added to the glass to absorb the yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting, the object is lilac / pink, in cold light (e.g. Fluorescent tubes and similar) the object is a violet to light blue colour. 4cm high. 14cm diameter.
