Thomas François Cartier sculpture "Elephant en furiè" signed sculpture in patinated terracotta, beginning of the 20th century
Beautiful Sculpture in patinated Terracotta by the french artist Thomas François Cartier (1879-1943), winner of the gold medal at the Paris Salon. Produced by the house "L. Martini" in the early 20th century, signed at the base, also bears production stamp and label of the prize won. The title of the work "Angry Elephant" makes very well the plasticity of the same. Original, is in good condition, with some signs of time, with a patina that makes it bronze like.
