Round extendable teak table from the 1960s designed by Svante Skogh for Seffle Möbelfabrik, with original branding.
Elegant round extendable teak table designed by Svante Skogh and produced by the Swedish manufacturer Seffle Möbelfabrik AB in the 1960s, as indicated by the original brand imprinted under the top. Equipped with an extension, the table can reach a maximum length of 175 cm, easily transforming from a compact table to a larger convivial surface. One of the two halves of the top has a slight discoloration of the wood due to time, a natural testimony to the age and use of the furniture. Svante Skogh developed this model in the context of Seffle Möbelfabrik's production between the late 1950s and 1960s, a period in which the Swedish company stood out for elegant and functional furniture intended for the international market. Skogh's work is characterized by harmonious proportions, essential lines and great attention to the quality of materials, elements that fully reflect the aesthetics of Scandinavian modernism.
