Elegant and particular pair of Bergère armchairs made in Italy in the 1950s.
Of nice dimensions, it owes its great comfort to the padding made with straps and springs, not only in the seat, but also in the backrest and armrests.
In addition to the way the padding is made, what makes them very comfortable and relaxing are the two "ears" of the Bergère model, not so common in Italy to be found in the 1950s.
The 4 feet that support them are the classic inverted truncated cone feet from the 1950s, in beech wood.
The vintage state of conservation is very good.
The structure is healthy and firm and therefore does not require interventions, as does the padding.
The upholstery, on the other hand, in "striped" beige/caramel velvet, although it has no tears or defects, is worn by use and time and therefore it is necessary to consider replacing it if necessary.
