Elegant pair of French bookends in full Art Deco style, characterized by a refined combination of fine materials. The squirrels, made of bronze with a warm golden patina, are framed by a circular brass structure which gives dynamism and modernity to the composition. The bases are in solid rosewood, an exotic wood sought after for its deep grains and its density, which gives stability and prestige to the objects.
