Item description

This object is a gilded wooden sculpture depicting the head of a winged cherub, a decorative motif typical of Italian Baroque art. The sculpture is of excellent quality, with the original gilding. Provenance: Rome, late 17th century. It shows signs of wear but is still in excellent condition.
