Italian frame from the second half of the 19th century. Napoleon III object in finely sculpted, gilded and chiselled wood and plaster of excellent quality. Frame that can accommodate a mirror or painting with the following maximum measurements H 36 x W 29.5 cm. Can be positioned both vertically and horizontally by moving the appropriate hook, a small frame, for antique dealers and interior designers.
Structurally sound and solid and in a beautiful patina, it shows small signs of aging and two very small lacks of plaster decoration (see photo) on the internal left corner. The floral decoration of the chisel and beautiful gilding are very elegant. Frame of great quality and pleasantness, overall in good condition.
