An important Louis Vuitton travel trunk, dating back to 1915, featuring the famous hand-painted monogram, a distinctive element of the house's early production. The structure is made of wood covered in monogram canvas, with reinforced corners and borders, original hardware, and metal closures. Horizontal wooden bands and metal guards highlight the intended use, designed for long journeys and demanding transport. Particularly fascinating is the presence of original travel labels and signs of use, which help define the history of the object and increase its narrative value. The general patina, authentic and coherent, restores a lived but preserved object, a direct witness to an era. The trunk is complete with its two original inner trays. Good overall condition, with signs of age and use consistent, enhancing its authenticity.
