Liberty sideboard in ash and maple, attributed to Ernesto Basile and produced by the Grandiosi Magazzini Emporio Roma of Palermo, dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. The structure has a central bevelled mirror, surmounted by three smaller mirrors, also bevelled, and a perforated cymatium. The base is characterized by a pair of central glass doors, flanked by side uprights with drawer under the top, glass door and two further drawers underneath. A splashback with molded shelf and shelf supports is surmounted by a perforated and carved decoration, which acts as a buttress for the central mirror. Elegant painted floral decorations enrich the front panels and drawers, while the metal handles complete the design. Some glass is missing.
